As the business name states, I am a second generation builder, my parents built new homes around the north metro for twenty plus years under Nielsen Construction Inc.  I have grown up around building for as long as I can remember. 

I started working full time for my parents in 2000, after I graduated from Central Lakes Technical College.  In 2006 I started Second Generation Builders Inc., when my parents started talking about retiring.  Business has been slow cause of the market, and starting a new business up, but I am able to try, and venture off in new markets and directions.  Most of the sub-contractors my dad started off with I am still using today. 

In 2008 I started my own family, I married my wife (Jolene). In late 2009 are cute, funny, and busy son was born (Third Generation Builder?).  Together we enjoy hunting, Vegetable gardening, camping, four-wheeling, and spending time with are families and friends.
